Sharing & Exporting Tally Sheets — FAQ
What’s the difference between Public, Protected, and Private share links?
Public needs no login and shows the least detail. Protected needs the recipient to be logged into any LumberLinq account and shows more detail. Private needs the recipient to belong to your company (or be explicitly invited) and shows everything.
Why does my Bundle export have no photos?
Photos must be uploaded to the Stock Unit first (via the tally sheet’s Documents tab) — then regenerate the Bundle export.
Why does my exported PDF have no company logo?
Upload your logo from Main Menu → Company → Branding before exporting — it must exist before it can appear on a PDF.
How do I revoke a share link?
Open the Share dialog on the tally sheet, find the link, and click Delete — it becomes invalid immediately.
Does AI Import cost anything?
Yes, it uses AI credits from your plan, consumed after extraction regardless of whether you confirm the import. It also requires the feature to be enabled on your subscription plan.
Can I see exactly what fields a recipient will see before sharing?
Yes — use the Access Visibility Panel (the eye/info button inside the share dialog).
A recipient with a Protected link sees “Access denied” — why?
They need to be logged into LumberLinq with an account that belongs to your company, or the link may have expired.
