How much commission do I earn?

It depends on the commission plan an admin assigns you — it could be a flat amount or a percentage, and either a one-time payment or a recurring one on renewals. Your dashboard’s Commission Ledger always shows your real, actual earnings, not an estimate.

Can I start sharing my referral link before I’m approved?

Yes. Your referral link is active as soon as you apply, even while your application shows as Pending Review — you don’t need to wait for approval to start sharing it.

Why can’t a payout be recorded for me yet?

Two things are required first: your verification (Legal & Contact Details, Tax ID, and Documents) must be complete, and you need a payout account saved. Check the Affiliate → Verification page for your current status and any rejection reason if something needs fixing.

What’s the difference between “Held” and “Eligible” commission?

“Held” commission is still in its hold period after a referral’s payment — it hasn’t cleared yet. “Eligible” means it’s cleared and ready to be paid out. Only Eligible commission can actually be paid.

My commission is stuck — what happened?

If your payout currency doesn’t match the currency your referral paid in, a percentage-based commission can be held waiting for an admin to apply an exchange rate before it can be finalized. This is normal for cross-currency referrals and doesn’t need any action from you.

Can I sign up as an affiliate if I already have a LumberLinq subscription?

Yes — apply from the “Become an Affiliate” page while logged in (/affiliate/apply), which skips the email/password step since you’re already logged in.

A document I uploaded for verification was rejected — what now?

Check the reason shown next to that document on the Verification page, then use the Replace button to upload a corrected version. There’s no limit on re-uploads.

Is my payout information secure?

Yes — your saved payout account details and tax ID are stored masked and only shown in full when you explicitly click Reveal.
